At Summit Vans, we’re committed to delivering premium van and 4WD parts quickly, safely, and reliably across Australia and internationally where available.
Please read the following information regarding shipping, returns, exchanges, and damaged goods before placing your order.
Shipping Policy
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
During sale periods, public holidays, or high-demand product launches, processing times may be slightly longer.
Custom-made, made-to-order, or oversized products may require additional lead times. If this applies to your order, we’ll contact you directly with an estimated timeframe.
Shipping Methods
We use trusted freight and courier partners including Australia Post, StarTrack, and specialist freight carriers depending on the size and destination of your order.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Product size and weight
- Delivery location
- Freight requirements
- Oversized or bulky items
Large & Oversized Freight
Many of our products for Sprinter vans, Troopys, and Jimnys are large, heavy, or custom fabricated components.
Oversized freight items may:
- Require pallet shipping
- Be delivered to a commercial address or depot
- Incur additional shipping fees
- Require a signature upon delivery
If additional freight charges apply after checkout due to remote delivery locations or oversized freight requirements, our team will contact you before dispatch.
Shipping Timeframes
Estimated delivery times:
- Metro areas: 2–7 business days
- Regional areas: 5–10 business days
- Remote locations: delivery times vary
Please note that delivery delays can occasionally occur due to freight carrier disruptions, weather events, or peak shipping periods.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details where applicable.
International Shipping
International shipping may be available on selected products. Shipping costs, duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
Please contact us before ordering internationally to confirm availability and shipping options.
Returns & Exchanges Policy
Change of Mind Returns
We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Original packaging must be included
- Proof of purchase is required
- Products must not have been installed, modified, or damaged
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Custom-made products
- Made-to-order items
- Electrical components
- Clearance or final sale items
- Installed or used products
- Special order parts
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging
- A description of the issue
Once assessed, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where applicable in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact our team as soon as possible and we will arrange the correct replacement.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return freight costs unless:
- The item is faulty
- The item was incorrectly supplied
- The product arrived damaged
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Summit Vans is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
Please allow:
- 3–7 business days for processing
- Additional bank processing time depending on your provider
Warranty
Many Summit Vans products are covered by manufacturer warranties.
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Incorrect installation
- Misuse or abuse
- General wear and tear
- Off-road damage beyond intended use
- Improper maintenance
If you believe your product is faulty under warranty, please contact our support team with photos and proof of purchase.
