This deposit is intended for customers who have already spoken with the Summit Vans team, selected a preferred van platform, and are ready to move forward with the quoting and build allocation process.

What this deposit secures

Your $5,000 build slot deposit secures a place in our upcoming Summit Vans production schedule for a 2027 MWB Sprinter build.

It allows us to begin allocating internal resources, planning your project, and progressing your build through our formal quote, contract, vehicle allocation and design approval process.

This deposit does not represent the full purchase price of a Summit van, a completed vehicle, or a final build contract by itself.

Indicative lead time: 6-12 months

Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on production scheduling, Mercedes-Benz vehicle availability, supplier lead times, customer approvals, specification changes and workshop capacity.

We will confirm your indicative timing during the quoting and contract process.

Deposit terms

By placing this order, you acknowledge and agree that:

The $5,000 build slot deposit is non-refundable.
The deposit is paid to secure a position in the Summit Vans build schedule.
The deposit will be credited toward your final Summit Vans build invoice, subject to you proceeding with the build.
The deposit does not lock in a final build specification, final price, vehicle allocation or delivery date by itself.
Final pricing, inclusions, layout, options, vehicle details and timing must be confirmed by written quote and contract.
Summit Vans reserves the right to decline or cancel a build request where the proposed project is not suitable, cannot be supplied, cannot be completed within our build parameters, or cannot be agreed under our formal contract terms.

What happens after payment?

After your deposit is received, the Summit Vans team will contact you to confirm the next steps.

Our process generally includes:

1. Initial consultation

We confirm your preferred layout, vehicle platform, major options, timing and intended use.

2. Quote and draft contract

We prepare an initial Summit quote and draft contract for review.

3. Quote revisions

If required, we revise the quote so the build scope is clear before acceptance.

4. Quote acceptance and contract signing

Once the build scope is agreed, you accept the quote and sign the Summit Vans build contract.

5. Vehicle allocation

A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is ordered, allocated or confirmed for your build, depending on availability.

6. Finishes and design approval

Closer to your build start date, we finalise your finishes, layout details and key design selections.

7. Build deposit stage

Prior to production commencing, a further build deposit/payment will be required in accordance with your quote and contract.

8. Production and handover

Your van enters production at our Wollongong facility, followed by final checks, handover and delivery arrangements.

Important payment information

This $5,000 deposit applies to builds scheduled more than 6 months out.

If your build is scheduled within 6 months, a higher initial deposit may be required as part of the formal quote and contract process.

Additional staged payments will be required before and during the build, as set out in your Summit Vans quote and contract.

Vehicle availability

Summit Vans builds are generally completed on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platforms supplied or allocated through the Summit Vans process.

Vehicle availability, pricing, specifications and delivery timing are subject to Mercedes-Benz supply conditions and may change.

If a suitable vehicle is not immediately available, we will discuss the available options with you.

Changes to your build

We understand that some details may evolve during the quoting and design process.

However, changes to layout, vehicle specification, finishes, electrical systems, accessories or major options may affect:

Final pricing
Build timing
Vehicle compatibility
Engineering or compliance requirements
Supplier lead times
Production scheduling

All changes must be confirmed in writing and approved by Summit Vans.
