Sumo Springs replace the factory hard rubber bump stops. These jounce stops are designed to control bottom out resistance in a smooth and progressive manner. Made to our exact specifications, and tuned to work in concert with our shock and strut packages, they are made from OEM grade microcellular foam which features excellent compression and rebound behavior.
These are taller and more progressive than hard rubber original equipment bump stops. This allows the bump to contact the control arm at ride height, increasing resistance to sway and bottom out, but their progressive design prevents them from limiting overall suspension travel.
